What does this mean for our tours?
LoDo walking tour
Masks are still strongly suggested as you will be with guests from different households. We are asking each guest follow their own comfort level. We walk through some businesses that still require masks to be worn. We ask you bring a mask and put it on when asked by your tour guide.
All guides are equipped with hand sanitizer, and hand sanitizing wipes which are available for all guest use before, during and after each tour.
Our guides wash their hands frequently.
We encourage guests to wash their hands frequently during the tour and to avoid touching their eyes, nose, and mouth.
Guides equipment that they use, cellphones, microphones etc., are wiped with disinfectant regularly.
We ask our guides to stay home if they are showing signs of being sick with the cold or flu, or if they have a sick person at home they are caring for, and we replace them with another guide (this has not happened yet).
We do not recommend anyone within the high-risk population of this virus join a tour.
What’s LoDo? I’m happy you asked! Lower Downtown or as we call it – LoDo is Denver’s oldest neighborhood which is home to some of the best restaurants and attractions in Denver. On this 2 hour walking tour your savvy local guide will share fascinating history and point out local hot spots (where to eat and drink). We walk about 1.5 miles where we bring to life the past, present, and future of our beloved city. This tour is perfect for those who have limited time and a busy schedule.
At the end of the tour you will feel more like a local and less like a tourist!

Our tour kicks off at the Union Station flagpole. We begin the tour by discussing the iconic Union Station and its significance to the survival of Denver as a city. Over the next hour and a half (+ or – 15 minutes depending on group size or pace) we walk a 1.5 mile loop around LoDo where we share stories of Hop Alley (Denver’s first Chinatown), visit Mattie Silks House of Mirrors (the most famous bordello of its time), visit the oldest operating hotel in Denver, and learn about the underground tunnel system that runs beneath the city.
We end the tour back at Union Station aka the living room of Denver. Your local guide is here to help you make the most out of your time in Denver so don’t hesitate to ask any questions.
You may cancel up to 24 hours before the beginning of the start time for a full refund. We understand that there are times when things happen, and we take those on a case by case basis.
You will learn some fascinating history, explore important sites/attractions and learn how Denver went from a dying mining town to become known as the thriving “Mile High City” in only 150 years.
Rain, snow, or shine our tours take place everyday of the week. Good thing Denver experiences over 300 days of sunshine. Just be sure to check the weather and dress appropriately. In cases of extreme weather, please check our Facebook page for cancellation announcements.
We meet out front of Union Station at the flagpole outfront at 1701 Wynkoop street. The cross street is 17th Street.
If parking downtown, please give yourself extra time to find parking. It’s difficult to find parking, so we recommend the website/app Park Mobile.

The tour starts promptly at scheduled time. We ask that your party arrives 10 – 15 minutes prior to start time to check in and ensure the tour doesn’t start without you. We start on time to ensure a quality experience for those that are on time. We can try to guide you to where the tour will be, however there is no refund once the tour has started.
